Rosebery is a small town located in the north west of Tasmania. Nancy's Restaurant and Nancy's B&B are centrally located (near the High School and Catholic School) in Rosebery which is often overlooking Snow Capped mountains, and is centrally located (only 1 hours drive) to Cradle Mountain National Park, Burnie, Queenstown, and Strahan.

The major employers in the area are the OzMinerals (formerly Zinifex,Pasminco) Polymetallic (Gold, Silver, Zinc, Lead, and Copper) mine, and the recently re-opened Bluestone tin mine (formerly Renison Bell).

In Agnes St (Rosebery's Main Street) there is a very interesting Cultural Heritage Centre showing the mining history of the Rosebery region.

The town is the perfect base for excursions to the stunningly beautiful natural wonders of the north west, such as Cradle Mountain, the Montezuma waterfall, the Franklin River, magnificent rainforests of the Hellyer Gorge, and "The Nut" at Stanley. Also if possible - each year in October - you need to see the stunning tulips at Table Cape (Wynyard).

Fishing, canoeing, white water rafting, rock climbing, Harley Davidson motorcycle rides, or just plain walking - it's all available, and for photographers, it is a case of "you can't take a bad picture if even you realllyyyyy want to".

Budding geologists, will find the area of great interest and variety.
